Giggle Academy, an innovative startup dedicated to education, was founded by Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao, the well-known founder of Binance. Recently, the platform’s official account on X (formerly Twitter) has fallen victim to a cyber attack. CZ has issued warnings to his followers regarding the dissemination of false information originating from the compromised account. The hackers have shared phishing links, which have raised significant security concerns among users of the platform. The account remains under threat, and both CZ and his team are actively working to rectify the situation. Users are advised to exercise caution regarding any messages that may come from the hacked account.

Binance Founder Addresses the Situation

In a post dated November 16, CZ revealed that the official X account of Giggle Academy had been breached by malicious actors. These hackers propagated false claims, including the dubious announcement of a “new CEO” for the platform, and urged users to click on phishing links purportedly meant to verify this misleading news. As of now, the account has not been restored. CZ, along with the Binance team, is diligently striving to reclaim control of the account. In the meantime, CZ has cautioned his followers to be vigilant and skeptical of any suspicious content and links until the account is fully secured.

An important detail worth noting is that CZ had previously shared a screen recording of the Giggle Academy app before the hacking incident. This app is designed to teach children essential subjects such as English, math, and blockchain concepts, starting from the age of four. Last week, CZ also referenced a tweet he shared a year prior, reiterating the significance of cryptocurrency, which he described as “a better form of money that supports billions.” Following Bitcoin’s historic peak of $93,434, he urged his followers to “be on the right side of history.”
